Challenger 4115 Series — 15,000 lb 4-Post Lift & Alignment Rack

The Challenger 4115 Series is a 15,000 lb ALI-Certified 4-post lift platform available in eight factory configurations — four general service flat deck models and four alignment-ready models with integrated turn plates and slip plates. Unlike 2-post lifts that require precise arm placement under each vehicle, the 4115's 26-inch wide drive-on runways accept everything from compact sedans to full-size pickup trucks and medium-duty commercial vans with no arm positioning required. The enclosed column and crossbeam construction houses UHMW internally encapsulated slide blocks that eliminate the metal-on-metal wear of traditional roller systems, delivering a longer service life with less maintenance. A 3HP power unit raises 15,000 lbs to the full 78-inch rise height in approximately 85 seconds, and the 17-position improved lock design provides secure, repeatable height stops across the entire range. Every 4115 model requires 90–120 PSI compressed air for lock operation — confirm your shop's air system capacity before ordering.

Flat Deck or Alignment Deck — Same Platform, Two Purposes

The 4115 Series is purpose-built to serve as either a general service 4-post lift or a full-featured wheel alignment rack — you choose the deck configuration at the time of order. Flat deck models (4115EFO, 4115XFO, 4115EFX, 4115XFX) provide a clean, unobstructed runway surface optimized for oil changes, brake work, exhaust, suspension, and general underbody service. Alignment deck models (AR4115EAO, AR4115XAO, AR4115EAX, AR4115XAX) integrate turn plate pockets, rear slip plates, wheel stops, work steps, and drop-in spacers for roll-back alignment capability — all compatible with today's camera-based and imaging alignment systems including Hunter, John Bean, and Snap-on. Standard-length alignment models support 2-wheel alignment for wheelbases up to 167 3/4 inches and 4-wheel alignment from 68 to 158 inches. Extended-length models push the 2-wheel alignment range to 195 1/4 inches for full-size trucks and commercial vans. The optional alignment kit adds rolling jacks, an internal airline system, and stainless steel turn plates.

Three Configuration Choices — Eight Models

Beyond the flat-versus-alignment deck choice, the 4115 offers two additional configuration axes. First, runway length: standard-length models accommodate wheelbases up to 183 inches with an overall footprint of approximately 20 feet 10 inches, while extended-length models stretch to 23 feet 1 inch and handle wheelbases up to 210 1/2 inches for long-wheelbase trucks, cargo vans, and fleet vehicles. Second, front type: open-front models omit the front crossbeam for unobstructed access to the vehicle's front end, steering components, and alignment adjustment points — the preferred layout for alignment shops. Closed-front models include a structural crossbeam across the front columns for added rigidity, which heavy-service shops may prefer when regularly lifting vehicles at or near the 15,000 lb capacity. Use the variant selector on this page to choose your exact configuration.

Construction, Safety & Installation

Every 4115 model is built on enclosed steel columns with UHMW internally encapsulated slide blocks that reduce friction, resist contamination, and outlast exposed roller-style bearing systems. The pneumatic lock system engages automatically during the lift cycle across 17 height positions and releases with a single air valve — no manual lock bars to set or forget. The 3HP power unit runs on 208–230V single-phase power (three-phase options at 208–240V or 440–460V are available for high-demand shops). Installation requires a concrete floor that is a minimum of 4 inches thick, 3,500 PSI or greater compressive strength, steel-reinforced, free from cracks or seams, and cured at least 28 days. A dedicated 30-amp electrical circuit and 90–120 PSI compressed air supply are required. The 4115 ships on a full-size freight truck at approximately 4,000–4,550 lbs depending on model — a forklift or loading dock is required at the delivery location. Professional installation by an authorized Panther Lift technician is available in the NJ, PA, and NY tri-state area.

Features & Benefits

15,000 lb ALI-Certified 4-Post Platform

The 4115 delivers 15,000 lbs of lifting capacity on a stable, drive-on 4-post platform — independently tested and certified by the Automotive Lift Institute to ANSI/ALI ALCTV safety standards.

  • 15,000 lb total rated capacity — handles passenger cars, SUVs, pickups, cargo vans, and medium-duty trucks
  • Drive-on runway design eliminates arm positioning — faster vehicle setup than 2-post lifts
  • ALI Certified with 17-position pneumatic lock system for secure, repeatable height stops

Dual-Purpose: General Service Lift & Alignment Rack

Choose flat deck models for general underbody service or alignment deck models with integrated turn plates, slip plates, and imaging system compatibility — both built on the same 15,000 lb platform.

  • Flat deck models (4115 prefix): clean runways for oil changes, brakes, exhaust, suspension, and general service
  • Alignment deck models (AR4115 prefix): integrated turn plate pockets, rear slip plates, wheel stops, work steps, and roll-back spacers
  • Alignment models compatible with Hunter, John Bean, Snap-on, and other camera-based imaging alignment systems

8 Factory Configurations — 3 Choice Axes

The 4115 Series offers three independent configuration options so you can specify the exact lift for your shop's layout, vehicle mix, and service offerings.

  • Runway length: standard (wheelbase up to 183") or extended (wheelbase up to 210 1/2") for full-size trucks and fleet vehicles
  • Front type: open-front for unobstructed vehicle access and alignment work, or closed-front for added structural rigidity
  • Deck type: flat for general service or alignment-ready with turn plates, slip plates, and imaging system compatibility

26" Wide Runways with Louvered Approach Ramps

All-new wider 26-inch runways accommodate a broader range of tire widths than standard 4-post lifts, and the louvered approach ramps eliminate wheel-spin during drive-on — a significant improvement over diamond tread or abrasive strip designs.

  • 26" runway width accommodates everything from passenger car tires to oversized truck and van tires
  • 40 5/8" between runways provides generous clearance for underbody access and jack placement
  • Louvered approach ramp surface prevents tire spin during loading — more effective and longer-lasting than grip tape or tread patterns

UHMW Slide Blocks & 17-Position Pneumatic Lock

Enclosed column construction with UHMW internally encapsulated slide blocks eliminates the metal-on-metal wear of traditional roller systems, while the 17-position pneumatic lock provides precise, hands-free height engagement.

  • UHMW slide blocks resist contamination, reduce friction, and outlast exposed roller bearings — fewer replacement parts over the life of the lift
  • 17 locking positions across the full 78" rise height for precise, secure stops at any service height
  • Pneumatic lock engages automatically and releases with a single air valve — no manual lock bars to set or forget

3HP Power Unit with Single & Three-Phase Options

A 3HP motor drives the 4115 to full 78-inch rise height in approximately 85 seconds. Single-phase power comes standard, with three-phase options available for shops with higher electrical capacity.

  • 3HP motor, 208–230V, 60Hz single-phase standard — dedicated 30A circuit required
  • Three-phase options: 208–240V or 440–460V for high-volume commercial shops
  • Hydraulic system uses 3 gallons of 10-weight anti-foam hydraulic oil or Dexron III ATF

Frequently Asked Questions

Flat deck models (4115EFO, 4115XFO, 4115EFX, 4115XFX) have clean, unobstructed runways designed for general vehicle service — drive the vehicle on, raise it, and perform oil changes, brake work, exhaust, suspension, and underbody inspections. Alignment deck models (AR4115EAO, AR4115XAO, AR4115EAX, AR4115XAX) add integrated turn plate pockets, rear slip plates, wheel stops, work steps, and drop-in spacers for roll-back alignment capability. The alignment models are compatible with today's camera-based and imaging alignment systems from Hunter, John Bean, Snap-on, and others. If you're adding alignment services to your shop or replacing an aging alignment rack, the AR models give you a full alignment station and a 15,000 lb service lift on the same platform.
The 4115 is rated at 15,000 lbs and accommodates a wide range of vehicles. Standard-length models handle wheelbases up to 183 inches — covering most passenger cars, crossovers, SUVs, and standard-bed pickup trucks. Extended-length models handle wheelbases up to 210 1/2 inches, adding full-size crew cab trucks, long-bed pickups, cargo vans (like the Ford Transit, RAM ProMaster, and Mercedes Sprinter), and medium-duty commercial vehicles. The 26-inch wide runways accept everything from compact car tires to oversized truck and van tires without issue.
The 4115 offers eight factory configurations based on three independent choices. First, runway length: standard handles wheelbases up to 183 inches, while extended handles up to 210 1/2 inches — choose extended if you regularly service full-size trucks, fleet vans, or long-wheelbase vehicles. Second, front type: open-front provides unobstructed access to the vehicle's front end and steering adjustment points (preferred for alignment shops), while closed-front adds a structural crossbeam for added rigidity (preferred for heavy general service). Third, deck type: flat for general service or alignment for wheel alignment capability. Use the variant selector on this page to pick your exact combination.
The 4115 requires a dedicated 208–230V, single-phase, 30-amp electrical circuit at 60Hz. Three-phase power options (208–240V or 440–460V) are available for shops with three-phase service. In addition to electrical, the 4115 requires a compressed air supply of 90–120 PSI for the pneumatic lock release system. This is a key difference from 2-post lifts — confirm that your shop has an air compressor capable of sustaining 90–120 PSI before ordering. The air system must be connected during installation and is required for daily operation.
The AR alignment deck models are designed to work with the industry's current camera-based and imaging alignment systems, including Hunter HawkEye, John Bean V-Series, Snap-on, and other major manufacturers. Standard-length alignment models support 2-wheel alignment for wheelbases up to 167 3/4 inches and 4-wheel alignment for wheelbases from 68 to 158 inches. Extended-length alignment models push the 2-wheel range to 195 1/4 inches. The optional alignment kit includes rolling jacks, an internal airline system, and stainless steel turn plates for a complete alignment station.
Standard-length models have an overall length of approximately 20 feet 10 inches (open front) and accommodate wheelbases up to 183 inches — sufficient for most passenger vehicles, SUVs, and standard pickups. Extended-length models are approximately 23 feet 1 inch long and handle wheelbases up to 210 1/2 inches, designed for full-size crew cab trucks, cargo vans, and fleet vehicles. Extended models require a 26-foot deep bay instead of 24 feet. If you regularly service vehicles like the Ford F-250 crew cab long bed, RAM ProMaster, or Mercedes Sprinter, the extended length is the right choice.
Open-front models omit the crossbeam between the front columns, providing completely unobstructed access to the vehicle's front end, steering components, and alignment adjustment points. This is the preferred layout for alignment work and for shops that frequently service the front suspension and steering of larger vehicles. Closed-front models include a structural crossbeam connecting the front columns for added frame rigidity, which some heavy-service shops prefer when regularly lifting vehicles at or near the 15,000 lb capacity. Both configurations share the same lifting capacity, rise height, and motor.
The Challenger 4115 Series is available in Black. An optional galvanized coating upgrade is available for the runways, jack rails, and turn plate pockets. The galvanized option significantly extends the lifespan of these high-wear, high-contact surfaces — particularly valuable in shops where the lift sees heavy daily use or where road salt and moisture are a concern.
Standard-length models require a minimum bay of 14 feet wide by 24 feet deep. Extended-length models require 14 feet wide by 26 feet deep. The ceiling height requirement is 78 inches (the rise height) plus the height of the tallest vehicle you plan to service — the 4115 is an open-top design, so the ceiling must clear the vehicle at full rise. For a typical SUV or pickup truck at around 6 feet tall, you need approximately 12 feet 6 inches of ceiling clearance. Measure your bay carefully before ordering, especially the depth for extended-length models.
The 4115 must be anchored into a concrete floor that is a minimum of 4 inches thick with a compressive strength of 3,500 PSI or greater, steel-reinforced, free from cracks or seams within the anchor zone, and cured for at least 28 days. The 4115 has a significantly larger footprint than a 2-post lift, so the condition of the concrete across the entire installation area is critical. No anchor bolt may be placed within 8 inches of any crack, edge, or expansion joint. If your existing slab has concerns, a dedicated concrete pad can be poured to spec before installation.
Yes. Panther Lift provides professional installation services for the 4115 Series in the NJ, PA, and NY tri-state area. Due to the size and complexity of 4-post lifts — the 4115 ships at approximately 4,000 to 4,550 lbs depending on model — professional installation is strongly recommended. Our factory-trained technicians handle concrete inspection, anchoring, hydraulic and electrical connections, air line plumbing, pneumatic lock calibration, safety testing, and operational training. Contact us to schedule an installation or request a quote.
Regular maintenance includes daily visual inspections of the lock mechanism, runways, and approach ramps. Weekly, check the hydraulic fluid level (the 4115 uses 3 gallons of 10-weight anti-foam hydraulic oil or Dexron III ATF), inspect the air supply lines and fittings for leaks, and verify the compressed air pressure reads 90–120 PSI. Monthly, inspect the UHMW slide blocks for wear, torque all concrete anchor bolts, lubricate all pivot points and slide tracks with heavy viscous grease per the IOM schedule, and test the pneumatic lock engagement at multiple heights. Keep the runways and ramp surfaces clean and free of oil or debris to maintain traction. Refer to the Challenger 4115 Installation & Operation Manual for the full maintenance schedule and torque specifications.
