Lift Installation

Concrete, Demolition & Lift Removal

Reinforced lift pads, slab demo and upgrades, pit work, and removal of old lifts and equipment. We keep the concrete in-house.

A lot of lift installs start with concrete. If the existing slab can't support what you're putting on it, we deal with that before we bolt anything down. We don't anchor into bad concrete.

Most equipment installers sub out the concrete scope. We keep it in-house: our crew is OSHA 10 and 30 trained and silica safety trained, and we handle the full concrete scope ourselves, so there's no separate contractor to coordinate. See all lift installation services.

Lift Pads and Slab Work

  • Slab assessment: we check thickness, PSI, rebar, and cure on every job. If it passes, we install. If it doesn't, we tell you what it needs.
  • New reinforced pads: poured to spec for the specific model going on them, with the right thickness, PSI, and rebar schedule.
  • Slab upgrades: thickening, reinforcing, or resurfacing an existing floor to meet manufacturer requirements. Common in older buildings.
  • Pit work: full excavation, forming, reinforcement, and pour for inground lifts, with dig boxes and proper shoring for any excavation at depth.

Demolition

Saw cutting and removal of concrete that's cracked, too thin, unreinforced, or in the wrong place for a new layout. Old compressors, tanks, piping, reels, and fans come out too, and if it's going to scrap, we coordinate disposal.

Lift Removal and Pit Abandonment

We pull out old inground lifts: drain the hydraulics, extract the mechanical, then fill and cap the pit or modify it for a new model. Same excavation standards as a new install, with dig boxes, proper shoring, and silica safety protocols for the concrete work.

Above-ground lifts too. If you're decommissioning a bay or pulling an old 2-post or 4-post that's past its service life, we take it out. We coordinate fluid handling and disposal with licensed waste haulers.

Swapping one lift for another? We coordinate the removal and the new install to keep your bay out of service as short as possible.

Common Questions

We demo the bad section, pour a proper reinforced pad to spec, and install once it's cured. We handle the full concrete scope, so you don't need a separate contractor.

Yes: removal, pit abandonment, and disposal. If you're replacing it, we coordinate both jobs so your bay is out of service as briefly as possible.

Yes. We fill and cap old pits when you pull a lift or convert a bay, or modify the pit to fit a new model.
