Challenger SRM10 — 10,000 lb ALI/ETL Certified Short-Rise Scissor Lift

The Challenger SRM10 is a 10,000 lb capacity short-rise scissor lift built for high-volume brake, tire, and undercar service. With a raised height of 22 inches and an ultra-low 4¼-inch lowered profile, the SRM10 makes wheel-off service fast and accessible — vehicles drive directly onto the platforms with no ramps or alignment needed. The dual hydraulic cylinders deliver smooth, even lifting across the full 10,000 lb capacity range, handling everything from compact sedans to full-size trucks and SUVs. ALI/ETL certified to ANSI/ALI ALCTV safety standards, the SRM10 is the go-to short-rise lift for professional service centers, tire shops, and fleet maintenance operations that need fast throughput without a full-rise lift.

Low-Profile Design, Maximum Accessibility

At just 4¼ inches lowered, the SRM10 sits nearly flush with the shop floor — low enough for virtually any production vehicle to drive over without assistance. The 50-inch platform length and 72-inch outside platform width provide a stable, generous contact area, while the 23-inch gap between platforms accommodates a wide range of wheelbases and track widths. Three mechanical locking bar positions at 13¾ inches, 18⅜ inches, and 21¼ inches give technicians height options for different service tasks, and the locking bar system engages automatically during the lift cycle. The included two-position adapter blocks with rubber pads (Part SR10-001) provide flexible lift point contact, and optional spotter block adapters (Part 63100) add 4⅛ inches of additional height when needed.

Three Configurations for Your Shop

The SRM10 series is available in three configurations. The standard SRM10 runs on 115V single-phase power — a standard 20-amp household circuit — making it one of the easiest high-capacity lifts to install in any shop. The SRM10-220 provides 220V single-phase operation for facilities with 220V infrastructure, though this model is not ALI/ETL certified. The SRM10-MPU features a movable power unit on 115V, allowing the hydraulic power source to be repositioned to accommodate different shop layouts and bay configurations. All three configurations share the same 10,000 lb capacity, 22-inch rise, and mechanical locking system.

Installation Requirements

The SRM10 requires a minimum 4-inch-thick reinforced concrete floor rated at 3,500 PSI or higher, cured at least 28 days, and free from cracks or seams within the anchor zone. The recommended bay size is 12 feet wide by 24 feet long, with a minimum width of 10 feet. Standard 115V installation requires a dedicated 20-amp double-pole breaker or time-delay fuse. The lift installs as a surface-mount unit with anchor bolts, and an optional flush-mount kit (Part SRM10-FMK-04) is available for shops that want the platforms level with the shop floor — note that flush-mount kits must be installed during concrete work, before the floor is poured. Indoor installation only.
