The Atlas Air Force AF7 builds on proven compressor design with a key enhancement: a professional-grade magnetic starter that controls electrical input and extends equipment lifespan. Running at 220V/1PH with low RPM technology, this 5HP compressor requires a 30 amp breaker and #10 wire, delivering consistent, controlled power delivery.
Matched Pump & Tank Performance
The AF7 features an identical 3-cylinder, 2-stage cast iron reciprocating pump paired with an 80-gallon vertical tank manufactured in the USA. Operating at 145-175 PSI, the compressor delivers 18.5 CFM at 145PSI and 14.5 CFM at 175PSI. The 1/2" NPT air outlet with included ball valve provides straightforward connection to shop air systems.

The magnetic starter automatically manages electrical load, reducing inrush current and mechanical stress on the motor. This technology adds years to compressor lifespan compared to direct-start systems.
