The Atlas Air Force AF6 is a purpose-built commercial air compressor designed for shops entering the professional air tools market. With a robust 5HP motor running at 220V/1PH requiring a 30 amp breaker and #10 wire, this unit delivers consistent, reliable performance.
Proven Pump & Tank Design
The AF6 features a cast iron 3-cylinder, 2-stage reciprocating pump belt-driven system paired with an 80-gallon vertical steel tank manufactured in the USA. Operating at 145-175 PSI, the compressor delivers 18.5 CFM at 145PSI and 14.5 CFM at 175PSI, making it suitable for moderate-duty shop applications. The 1/2" NPT air outlet includes a ball valve for easy connection.
Optimized for Quiet, Efficient Operation
This compressor incorporates vibro-isolation pads to minimize vibration and noise, making it one of the quieter units in its class. The finned tank inlet tube reduces water accumulation, while a hands-free tank drain extension simplifies maintenance. A heavy-duty metal belt guard provides safety and durability. At 485 lbs, the AF6 measures 36"L × 24"W × 69"H and can power sandblast cabinets with medium or medium-fine glass bead applications.
