The Atlas Platinum PTC400 combines the proven swing-arm architecture of the PTC300 with a versatile center post mounting system and a left-hand bead pressing and bead lifting assist arm. Italian engineered and built with premium components, the PTC400 is designed for shops that need to handle a wider range of wheel sizes and tackle more challenging tires — including low-profile, run-flat, and ultra-high-performance fitments — without fighting the machine. The center post design extends the clamping range to 10-26 inches, two inches beyond the PTC300, while the 6,924 lb bead breaker force handles even the most stubborn beads.

Center Post & Assist Arm Advantage

The center post mounting system provides a rigid, centered clamping point that reduces wheel deflection during the mount/demount cycle. The included left-hand assist arm acts as a bead pressing and bead lifting device, applying controlled downward pressure on the tire sidewall during mounting to keep the bead seated in the drop center. This eliminates the need for manual bead levers on difficult tires and significantly reduces the risk of rim damage. The assist arm makes changing stiff-sidewall tires — run-flats, UHP, and low-profile fitments — faster and less physically demanding for the technician.
