Challenger VLE10 — 10,000 lb Versymmetric® 2-Post Lift

The Challenger VLE10 brings industry-leading Versymmetric® technology to the popular economy-grade LE10 platform. This ALI-Certified 2-post lift handles up to 10,000 lbs with 3-stage Versymmetric® front arms and 2-stage rear arms, delivering a wide arm sweep that supports both asymmetric and symmetric vehicle positioning in the same service bay. Standard features include double telescoping screw pads with rubber foot pads, a padded overhead shut-off system, rubber door guards, plated arm restraints and arm pins, and a premium powder coat finish for long-lasting durability.

Versymmetric® Arm Design

The VLE10's Versymmetric® arm configuration provides the flexibility to lift vehicles asymmetrically — with the vehicle doors positioned outside the columns for easy access — or symmetrically for trucks and vehicles with longer wheelbases. The 3-stage front arms reach from 22 5/16" to 39 3/8" while the 2-stage rear arms extend from 38 3/8" to 55 3/8", covering a broad range of passenger cars, SUVs, and light trucks up to 10,000 lbs. The overall width is fixed at 131 5/8" (10' 11 5/8") with 110 1/4" between columns and 98 3/8" of drive-thru clearance.

CL-Series Lock Release & Height Extension

The VLE10 comes standard with a jacketed pulley-less single-point mechanical lock release system — a feature previously exclusive to Challenger's premium CL-series lifts. This lift stands 11' 11 7/8" tall and fits in service bays with a minimum 12-foot ceiling. For shops servicing taller vehicles, the optional LE2P10EH2 height extension adds approximately 2 feet, bringing the overall height to 13' 11 7/8" and requiring a 14-foot ceiling.

Standard Equipment & Installation

The VLE10 ships with all mounting hardware, four 3-stage front and 2-stage rear lift arms, double telescoping screw pads with rubber foot pads, rubber door guards, plated arm restraints, and a complete hydraulic power unit with a 3HP motor. Electrical service requires a dedicated 208–230V, single-phase, 30-amp circuit. The lift must be anchored into a concrete floor that is a minimum of 4 inches thick, 3,500 PSI or greater compressive strength, steel-reinforced, and at least 28 days cured. Professional installation by an authorized Panther Lift technician is available in the NJ, PA, and NY tri-state area.

Frequently Asked Questions

The VLE10 requires a minimum 12-foot ceiling in its standard configuration (overall height 11' 11 7/8"). If you add the optional LE2P10EH2 height extension, the overall height increases to 13' 11 7/8" and a 14-foot ceiling is required.
Versymmetric® is Challenger's arm technology that allows both asymmetric and symmetric vehicle positioning in the same service bay. Asymmetric positioning places the vehicle doors outside the columns for easy access, while symmetric positioning centers the vehicle for balanced lifting — ideal for trucks and longer-wheelbase vehicles.
The VLE10 is rated for vehicles up to 10,000 lbs (2,500 lbs per arm). This covers most passenger cars, sedans, coupes, SUVs, crossovers, and light trucks. Always verify your vehicle's weight against the lift's rated capacity before use.
The VLE10 requires a dedicated 208–230V, single-phase, 60Hz electrical circuit with a 30-amp breaker. This is a higher amperage requirement than some other 10K lifts, so confirm your shop's electrical panel can support a dedicated 30A circuit before ordering.
The Challenger VLE10 is available in Red and Blue with a premium powder coat finish. Select your preferred color when placing your order through Panther Lift.
Yes. The VLE10 is ALI Certified (Automotive Lift Institute), which means it has been independently tested and verified to meet ANSI/ALI ALCTV safety and performance standards.
Challenger recommends a minimum bay size of 12 feet high, 14 feet wide, and 24 feet deep. The lift's fixed overall width is 131 5/8" (10' 11 5/8") with 98 3/8" of drive-thru clearance between the columns.
The VLE10 reaches a maximum rise height of 74 3/4" in approximately 44 seconds using the 3HP power unit. The floor-to-overhead safety switch height is 11' 5" in standard configuration or approximately 13' 5" with the height extension.
The VLE10 includes four lift arms (3-stage Versymmetric® front, 2-stage rear), double telescoping screw pads with rubber foot pads, a jacketed pulley-less single-point mechanical lock release, padded overhead shut-off, rubber door guards, plated arm restraints and arm pins, all mounting hardware, and the 3HP hydraulic power unit.
The VLE10 must be anchored into a concrete floor that is a minimum of 4 inches thick, has a compressive strength of 3,500 PSI or greater, is steel-reinforced, and has been cured for at least 28 days. The concrete must be in sound condition with no cracks or damage at the anchor points.
