Challenger RJ9A — 9,000 lb Air/Hydraulic Rolling Jack for Alignment Racks

The Challenger RJ9A is a 9,000 lb capacity air/hydraulic rolling jack designed for the Challenger 44018AR and 44018XAR alignment rack 4-post lifts. The "A" designation indicates this jack is built with the side member geometry specific to alignment rack models — it is not interchangeable with the RJ9S (standard 44018 models). Rail-mounted and foot pedal operated, the RJ9A rolls along the lift's accessory rails to position under each axle, providing free-wheel access for alignment work, brake service, tire changes, and suspension repair.

The RJ9A lifts from a lowered height of approximately 4.75 inches to a raised height of 14.625 inches. The extendable center lift pad arms reach from 33 inches (retracted) to over 50 inches (extended) for precise positioning under factory lift points. Maximum load per arm/pad is 4,500 lb. The air/hydraulic pump is activated by a foot pedal and delivers 9,000 lb of total lifting capacity at 6,300 PSI hydraulic pressure. A mechanical lock secures the jack at the raised position. Two 3-inch stack extensions are included. Maximum air operating pressure is 150 PSI.

Compatibility & Installation

The RJ9A is compatible with Challenger 44018AR and 44018XAR alignment rack 4-post lifts only. For standard 44018 and 44018E models, use the RJ9S instead. Installation requires mounting the jack assembly on the lift rack rails and securing with four hex bolts. An internal airline kit (sold separately) is required to route compressed air to the rolling jack positions — select the correct airline kit for your 44018AR or 44018XAR model. The RJ9A is sold individually.
