The Challenger LE12-3S is a 12,000 lb capacity ALI-Certified heavy-duty 2-post lift designed as the ideal economic solution for shops servicing trucks, vans, delivery vehicles, SUVs, and electric vehicles up to 12,000 lbs. Heavy-duty 3-stage front and 3-stage rear arms provide symmetric lifting with increased versatility, accommodating a significantly broader range of modern vehicles — including EVs and delivery trucks with wider OEM-required pickup points. The powerful 3HP single-phase motor delivers a full rise of 77 3/4 inches in approximately 61 seconds.

Adjustable Column Height

The LE12 installs in two column height configurations: Reduced Height at 166 inches (13 ft 10 in) or Standard Height at 175 inches (14 ft 7 in), selected during installation to match your shop's ceiling clearance. The Reduced setting requires a minimum ceiling height of 13 ft 11 in, while the Standard setting requires 14 ft 8 in. For shops that need even more overhead clearance, an optional 2-foot column extension (Part # E12EH2) is available to accommodate higher-profile vehicles and increase servicing headroom. The overall width of 11 ft 7 3/4 in provides 115 inches between columns and 8 ft 7 in of drive-thru clearance.

Standard Equipment

Every LE12 comes standard with heavy-duty polyurethane screw pads adjustable from 5 1/4 inches to 6 3/4 inches, plus included 3-inch and 6-inch stack adapters for reaching a wide range of manufacturer-specified lift points. The single-point mechanical lock release allows the technician to disengage column locks from both sides simultaneously for controlled, safe lowering. A padded overhead shut-off system prevents accidental vehicle contact with the overhead beam. Plated arm restraints and arm pins resist rust, the powder coat finish protects against chips and corrosion, and standard dual integrated rubber door guards protect vehicle panels during service.

The LE12 requires a minimum ceiling height of 13 ft 11 in (Reduced column setting) or 14 ft 8 in (Standard column setting), with a recommended bay width of 14 ft and depth of 24 ft. Minimum clearance of 6 ft to the nearest obstruction or 7 ft to the nearest wall on each side. The standard power unit operates on 208-230V single-phase 20A service with a dedicated circuit and disconnect switch. The concrete floor must be at least 4 inches thick, reinforced, free from cracks and seams, rated at 3,500 psi minimum, and cured for at least 28 days. Indoor installation only.

Unloading Requirements

This lift ships curbside via freight truck and weighs approximately 2,100–2,310 lbs depending on configuration. You are responsible for offloading at your location. A forklift, tractor with forks, or equivalent heavy equipment must be available on-site at the time of delivery. The carrier will not unload the freight.
