Recessed Installation for DX77

The Challenger DX77-FM Flush Mount Frame Kit enables recessed installation of the DX77 double-scissor lift, allowing the lift surface to sit flush with the shop floor when lowered. The kit includes two pit frames with concrete ties that are set in place during the concrete pour, creating a seamless, drive-over surface with no raised edges or trip hazards — the cleanest possible installation for alignment bays, inspection lanes, and high-traffic service areas.

Install Before You Pour

The flush mount frame components must be in place during the concrete pour. The floor requires a minimum of 4" thick reinforced concrete, rated at 3,500+ psi, cured at least 28 days. Once installed, the DX77R (flush-mount model) delivers 70" of rise height within a compact 69.5" x 83.25" footprint — fitting bays as narrow as 10 feet while providing full-rise capability. The crossmember-free design provides unrestricted access all around the lifted vehicle.

Frequently Asked Questions

The flush mount frame is designed for installation before the concrete floor is poured. Retrofitting requires cutting and removing existing concrete — significantly more complex and costly than new construction installation.
The floor must be a minimum of 4" thick, reinforced, free from cracks or seams, rated at 3,500+ psi, and cured at least 28 days before the lift is installed on the frames.
Flush installation creates a zero-profile surface when lowered — no raised edges, no trip hazards, unrestricted vehicle positioning. The DX77R (flush) achieves 70" of rise vs. 74.5" surface-mounted, with overall width reduced from 82" to 69.5".
No. The DX77-FM is the flush mount frame kit only. The DX77R scissor lift (flush-mount model, 7,700 lb. capacity, ALI Certified, ETL Listed) is purchased separately and ships with the frame kit as the DX77R package.
