Drive On Low-Profile Vehicles

The Challenger DX77-ERK Extended Ramp Kit provides longer approach ramps for the DX77 surface-mounted scissor lift, replacing the standard 11.75" ramps with extended-length, reinforced diamond-plate ramps that reduce the approach angle for low-profile vehicles. Essential for shops that service sports cars, lowered vehicles, and modern cars with aggressive front-end profiles that would scrape on the standard ramp incline.

Reinforced Diamond-Plate Construction

The set of 2 ramps features reinforced diamond-plate steel that flips up and locks to extend the platform load length when needed, then stores flat when not in use. The DX77's standard ramp length of 11.75" works for most vehicles, but the extended ramps provide the additional approach distance needed for vehicles with limited ground clearance — letting them transition smoothly onto the 24.5"-wide platforms without bumper, air dam, or underbody contact.

Frequently Asked Questions

The DX77's standard ramps are 11.75" long, which can create a steep approach angle for low-profile vehicles. The extended ramps increase approach distance, preventing front bumper, air dam, and underbody scraping during drive-on.
Sports cars, lowered vehicles, cars with aftermarket body kits, and modern vehicles with aggressive front-end profiles and limited ground clearance. Any vehicle that scrapes on standard 11.75" ramps will benefit.
No. The ramps only affect the drive-on approach. Once the vehicle is on the DX77's platforms (24.5" wide, 3,850 lbs. max per platform), the lift operates at its full 7,700 lb. rated capacity.
The DX77-ERK is designed for the surface-mounted DX77. The flush-mount DX77R sits level with the floor when lowered, so extended ramps are typically not needed for that installation type.
