The Challenger CLHMHTJ-1000 is a 1,000 lb hi-rise transmission jack designed specifically for use with Challenger CLHM mobile column lift systems. With a start height of 34.5 inches and a maximum lift height of 72 inches, this jack reaches transmissions on vehicles raised to full column lift height — far beyond what standard floor-height transmission jacks can reach. The two-stage air/hydraulic system uses air power for fast initial rise and switches to air/hydraulic for precise final positioning under the transmission.

Precision Positioning

Getting a transmission aligned and seated requires exact control, and the CLHMHTJ-1000 delivers it. The saddle tilts 10 degrees in all directions — forward, rearward, and side-to-side — to match the angle of the bellhousing and guide pins. A 360-degree rotating saddle lets you spin the transmission to the correct orientation without lifting it off the jack. Four 4-inch swivel casters roll smoothly under the vehicle for easy positioning between columns, and the 41-by-41 inch footprint fits comfortably in the column lift bay.

Two-Stage Power System

The first stage runs on 100 percent air power for rapid initial ascent — getting the jack up to working height quickly. The second stage switches to air/hydraulic for fine, controlled positioning as you approach the transmission. Operating air pressure ranges from 90 to 160 PSI. At only 125 lbs, the CLHMHTJ-1000 is light enough to roll into position easily but stable enough to hold heavy transmissions securely. Optional adapters include the #45 ratcheting strap kit and #90 exhaust clearance adapter for vehicles where exhaust passes close to the transmission.
