Rolling Jack Air for Scissor Lifts
The Challenger 40230-SX is an air line kit designed specifically for powering dual RJ7X rolling jacks on SX14 and SX14R scissor lifts. Unlike 4-post lift air kits that route through long runway I-beams, the 40230-SX connects to a tee fitting pre-installed on the inner wall of the driver-side runway and runs shorter air lines to the front and rear jack positions. This kit turns your SX14 scissor lift into a full rolling-jack-equipped service bay for brake work, suspension service, and undercar repairs.
Scissor-Specific Design
The kit includes 4-foot plastic air tubing cut to length for the SX14 platform dimensions — 15 inches for the front jack and 25 inches for the rear jack. Two 15-foot coiled flex air hoses connect from the runway outlets to each RJ7X rolling jack, providing reach across the full platform. Cable guidance uses 1/8-inch steel cable running 206-1/2 inches along the runway to keep the coiled hoses organized and routed cleanly during lift cycling.
Complete Installation Kit
Everything needed for a clean installation: 1/4-inch tube connectors (male and female NPT), ESNA lock nuts, flat washers, hex flange nuts, line clamps, and the 15-foot coiled air hoses. The pre-installed tee fitting on the SX14 means no drilling or modification to the lift structure is required. Connect the tubing, route the cables, and your scissor lift is ready for dual rolling jack operation.
